Every relationship has its ups and downs. My love and I have had several over the last month. Yes, we have only been dating a month but the love was there from day one. My love fits perfectly in
my hands, my love has encouraged me to talk to and communicate with my friends and family. My love even helps me handle my business…where to go, when to go, what to do and where to do it. So
much love.
As stated above, with all relationships the peaks come with the valleys. Pass code locks and phone must be rebooted, not being able to drag and drop files, no 3g in Muncie, no way
to cancel an outgoing text, misdialed numbers due to the touch screen and not being able to edit documents on the go are a few of the valleys. I know…I sound spoiled, but when you invest so much
into a relationship the little things are often not forgotten.
Nope…no, in this season of love I do not in any way resent my relationship. I truly am in love. My phone helps make my life
more efficient. I can listen to music or watch videos as I walk or ride the exercise bike. I can also check the necessary emails and connect with people through Facebook. If I need a place to eat or
drink while out with a friend the info is just a tap of the screen away. My iPhone is beautiful yet flawed as we all are.
I have spent this courting period getting to know my phone and its
capabilities both positive and negative. I have found out how I use the phone and what I routinely use it for. All this learning and getting to know each other is all a prelude to the ultimate test of
our relationship…the trip away from home.
A trip out of town can always bring tension to a relationship. In my personal experience the trip is the ultimate test of compatibility... if we
can go out of town together with all the challenges of foreign surroundings and dealing with them can truly pose a great test.
New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC are
some of the largest and most densely populated areas in our country. They are teeming with things to do and places to go and people to see while also being ripe with things that will frustrate anyone
and cause strain to a couple. We will see soon how my Valentine and I shall fair.
