Hoover has launched a new advertising campaign, "Clean Freaks Rejoice," which is meant to connect with consumers on an emotional level, rather than focusing purely on functionality and
features.
"It was clear to us there was an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the attitudes many people have about cleaning and caring for their homes, and to associate the Hoover brand's
superior cleaning benefits with the things they really care about in home care," said Carolyn Resar, the company's vice president of marketing, in a statement. The first television spot in the
campaign broke during the Academy Awards broadcast on Sunday.--Aaron Baar
