Comcast Corp., the country's largest cable provider and half-owner of NECN, may buy the remaining half of the 24-hour news network, reports
The Boston Globe. Hearst, NECN's co-owner, is
expected to sell its remaining half. NECN is based in Newton, Mass., and reaches 3.7 million viewers throughout New England. Comcast shut down its CN8 Network in Brookline, Mass. in January.
