Teens Pay Attention To Mall Advertising

If you want to reach teens, advertise at the mall. According to a recent Scarborough study, almost 95% of teen mall shoppers notice some type of mall advertising. On a typical visit, 68% of teens spend two hours or more at a mall, half spent $50 or more; 29% spent $100+. On the ad front: 91% of teen shoppers notice poster display ads at the mall; 85% notice hanging ad banners; 77% notice sampling; 58% notice promotional events; 57% notice TV/video screens; 48% notice interactive displays/kiosks; and 31% notice moving images projected on the floor or walls.
