The Walt Disney Family Foundation will open the Walt Disney Family Museum on October 1 in San Francisco, reports Reuters. The museum will chart Disney's life from his birth and childhood to his move
to California in the 1920s, when he created Mickey Mouse. Among the exhibits on display: early animation drawings, film clips, scripts, cameras and many of his Oscars. The museum, which is showcasing
the man behind the brand name, will also house a model of the Disneyland theme park he first envisioned, which differs from the one that ultimately opened in 1955.
