Msnbc.com has launched an iPhone app providing access to breaking news, videos, photos and other content. It lets users watch video, read news stories and use Twitter to share articles and track the
Twitter feeds from NBC News and MSNBC Cable anchors.
Developed in partnership with mobile media company Zumobi, the msnbc.com app includes Best Buy as launch sponsor, with links to
its featured deal of the day and the electronics chain's Twitter page. The company has previously developed apps for other TV programs including "The Today Show," "The Rachel Maddow Show" and
"American Idol" and has developed a network of apps across which marketers can advertise. --Mark Walsh
