Despite any music experience, Ellen DeGeneres has joined "American Idol" as the show's fourth judge, replacing Paula Abdul, for the upcoming ninth season. She'll join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and
Kara DioGuardi after the auditions. Her talk show, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," will not be affected by the new assignment.
The show has now "jumped the shark" with the addition of this chucklehead. I guess Sarah Palin's asking price was too steep.
