The McClatchy Company announced Monday that all 30 of its daily newspapers have joined The Associated Press mobile news network.
Two McClatchy newspapers -- The Miami Herald and The
Sacramento Bee -- had joined AP Mobile last year. The publisher's Spanish-language El Nuevo Herald in Miami was also the first Spanish-language paper to be featured on the U.S.-Spanish
section of the mobile news portal.
In addition to AP's own coverage of breaking news, sports, entertainment, politics and business, the mobile sites provide content more than 1,000 AP members and
third-party sources. Along with the Herald and the Bee, McClatchy's newspapers include the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Kansas City Star, The Charlotte Observer, and The News
& Observer (Raleigh). --Mark Walsh
