Mercedes-Benz USA is launching a proprietary in-vehicle telematics program called mbrace.
The service, available on Mercedes-Benz vehicles sold through authorized dealers in the United
States, replaces Tele Aid, a system that Mercedes had offered for the past 10 years.
The mbrace service, developed by Atlanta-based Hughes Telematics, lets drivers connect to their vehicles
via iPhone or BlackBerry to remotely lock or unlock their vehicles or locate their vehicles in crowded parking lots or on city streets through a map representation on their smartphones.--Karl
