Leo Wolinsky has been named editor of
Daily Variety. Beginning in January, Wolinsky, a longtime
Los Angeles Times staffer, will handle all editorial content for both the Los Angeles and
Gotham print editions, reports
The Wrap. He will report to Variety Group editor Timothy M. Gray. Wolinsky had been with the LAT from 1977-2008, holding various editor posts. He left as
associate editor of features and entertainment.
