Since there has been much talk of new messaging channels "killing" email during the past decade, I thought it would be appropriate to consider for a moment just how critical email is to each of us and the brands we interact with over the holiday season. Enjoy!

Four (hundred), Twitter notices (No, I do not get that many new followers in a day!)
Three Facebook updates,
Two purchase confirmations,
And an offer where shipping was free.

On the fifth day of (insert appropriate holiday here, again)

My email sent to me

Nine girls a-dancing, (no, not that type of dancing! It was a Flip video my mother-in-law took of my daughter's dance recital; get your head out of the gutter!)
