Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak can be called many things, but reticent is not one of them. Case in point: Woz is going around telling members of the press that he's just smitten with Google's new
Nexus One smartphone. Recently asked on the set of NBC's "Class Action," a Bay Area education show, what his favorite gadget is, Wozniak said: "Well, it's the latest one ... It's a non-Apple product,
but it's a gadget that just came out yesterday" -- the day after Nexus One debuted.
Not that Wozniak has been afraid to carp about the company he founded in recent years. He blasted the
first-generation iPhone for not supporting 3G out of the gate, and he's criticized the phone for not being more open to developers. According to NBC's Bay Area News, Wozniak does have a connection to
the Nexus One's Android operating system given the fact that he was on the board of Danger Inc. -- founded by Andy Rubin, who now runs Google's mobile efforts.
