Discovery Takes TLC Global

Discovery Communications announced the global launch of TLC, which includes a female-targeted lineup of shows, such as "LA Ink," "Cake Boss" and "Say Yes to the Dress." The international launch begins March 4 in Norway and will be available in more than 75 markets reaching more than 100 million households by spring 2011. In addition to the lifestyle programming available in the United States, the international female channel will provide factual entertainment programming from Discovery's portfolio, including Investigation Discovery, Planet Green and Animal Planet.
