This past summer, I wrote a post on Ping.fm and everything it does. It now seems that it has attracted enough attention to get purchased by Seesmic, a company that makes several popular Android and desktop applications related to Twitter and Facebook. This move should put Ping.fm in a position to continue its growth in both offerings and users.
