Apple's launch of its iAd platform last month will surely boost awareness of the mobile advertising beyond text ads and banners. But other companies have already been toiling away on rich media
advertising in mobile for a while.
Among them is Crisp Wireless, which Wednesday announced a new set of high-profile publishers offering its mobile ad technology including The Wall Street
Journal Digital Network, A&E, AccuWeather.com and Cars.com.
The company earlier this year introduced a new fixed-placement unit for smartphones called "Adhesion" that stays on screen as a user scrolls up or down on a
