Isikoff Exits 'Newsweek,' Joins NBC News

Michael Isikoff is leaving Newsweek, which is for sale, to join NBC News as a national investigative correspondent. Isikoff has held the same post at the newsweekly since 1994. He will appear on "NBC Nightly News," "Today," the cable channel MSNBC and other outlets. Isikoff writes a the Newsweek blog called "DeClassified." In January 2009, he was named an MSNBC contributor.

    Umm, this guy is leaving Newsweek - which is for sale - to join NBC which is about to be aquired by Comcast who will fire everybody. Dude, bad career move.

    Still...those of us who have blogs and tens of thousands of followers are, in aggregate, pulling this guy down to where he belongs...to be seen as an often good writer but with biases. I will follow him on Twitter if he follows back.
