Jessica Sibley has been named publisher of
The Week, reports
The Wall Street Journal. She had been the publisher of
Bloomberg Businessweek and succeeds Jed Hartman, who became
group publisher of Time Inc.'s Fortune and CNNMoney. The 9-year-old
Week is raising its rate base to 510,000. The pub relies heavily on its subscriber base for revenue, but advertising is
expected to overtake subscription revenue this year.
