HBO didn't need a landmark Emmy win Sunday night to commit to "Sex and the City." HBO decided "a while ago" -- at least several weeks before "Sex" became the first cable series to win the outstanding
comedy Emmy -- to pick up its option on the show's fifth season, sources said. Paperwork making the move official went through last week. HBO plans to premiere season five in June. And six remaining
episodes from season four are set to bow Jan. 6, continuing with no hiatus through Feb. 10.
