Beyonce Unveils Temporary Tats At Sephora

  • September 26, 2010
Beyoncé is extending her beauty branding to a new sphere: The singer, who already has a series of fashion and fragrance products, is introducing a line of temporary tattoos this November at Sephora.

The $16 tattoo kits, which include photos of the singer, will be sold under the name Deréon, the fashion label run by the Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles. They feature the same biker-chic tattoos she sported in the Deréon Fall 2010 campaign, where she rocked a blonde '60s updo and black leather, while draping herself over motorcycles.

Each tattoo, including rocker bolts, chains, and seductive spiders, can be applied as a larger single image or cut into smaller pieces. The waterproof tats are said to last two to five days.

And Temptu, the airbrush makeup company behind the tattoos, plans to sell 500 deluxe versions, which include a signed poster of Beyoncé and a chance to win a tattoo photo shoot of their own, for $34 on its Web site.

Beyonce's brands also include Beyonce Heat, a fragrance with Coty. Deréon is sold in department and specialty stories. Its Miss Tina line is marketed at Walmart.
