Television viewers like their restaurant advertising served "relevant and informative," according to a rating of the commercials' watchability and persuasiveness by Ace Metrix. It also
helps to "convey the desirability of menu items."
The year's most effect spots "tell consumers something they don't know," JuYoung Lee, chief scientist
and co-founder of Ace Metrix tells Mark Brandau.
The top five commercials were: Starbucks' "The Big Picture"; Domino's "Crazy Thing to Make Food Look
Good"; Domino's "Take the Pizza Out of the Oven and Take Picture"; Pizza Hut's "You Don't Have to Settle" and Dairy Queen's "Lips Got Blizzard a
