Subaru will begin using a new slogan, "Confidence in Motion," after it unveils a new concept vehicle at this month's Los Angeles Auto Show that embodies the theme, Hans Greimel reports.
"Confidence in Motion" reflects the company's focus on engineering and safety as well as its commitment to innovating in order to match changing customer demands, according to Ikuo Mori, president of
Fuji Heavy Industries, which makes Subaru vehicles.
Subaru posted a 25% jump in October U.S. sales, placing its gain for 2010 at 23%, more than twice the industry average. It was the
only brand to increase U.S. sales in 2008, and last year it was one of only three.
