Mobile Marketing To Develop Privacy Guidelines

As the online privacy debate comes to the $600 million mobile marketplace, the Mobile Marketing Association says it will develop a set of mobile privacy guidelines, reports Mediaweek. Alan Chapell, president of Chapell & Associates, will head the privacy initiative, which will address how marketers should engage consumers through SMS, MMS, e-mail, voice, applications, mobile Internet, content and proximity channels.
