Netscape has announced that their latest software - Netscape Navigator 7.01 - will include pop-up blocking features. This is the latest in a series of such moves by some of the web's biggest players.
AOL announced in October that its AOL 8.0 Internet service would no longer serve pop-up ads from non-AOL Time Warner companies, after ISP EarthLink has already begin bundling Pop-Up Blocker in its
software in August and iVillage announced it would no longer accept pop-ups ads on its network.
