HubPages Launches Ad Program

HubPages, a social content community, is launching HubPages Ad Program, giving its writers access to the premium ad rates usually restricted to large publishers. That means an effective average CPM of $2 to $3, up from ones usually in the cents. HubPages will continue its 60% impression share policy with its 220,000 writers who have crafted over 1.2 million original articles. "This is a terrific opportunity for brands that want to reach pre-qualified, intent driven audiences at significant scale," says Chris Little, HubPages, director of media sales. "A home services retailer or brand could 'own' those article pages." HubPages' most prolific writers will sign onto the HubPages Ad Program via invitation.
