Julius Genachowski's turbulent era at the Federal Communications Commission may be ending, reports
The Hill. The FCC chairman is under consideration to replace Gary Locke as Secretary of
Commerce, according to sources close to the White House. Genachowski is seen as ready to leave the FCC after a grueling tenure characterized by acrimony after tangling with both political parties. The
agency approved Net neutrality rules last December.
