Webtrends Unveils Cross-Channel Analytics Platform

Analytics silos are breaking down, declared Alex Yoder, CEO of Webtrends. On Monday, the company launched a new cross-channel platform combining mobile, social and site analytics -- integrating data from third-party sources like the Facebook API, iTunes Connect, PostRank engagement scores and bit.ly's incoming links. "Today marketers need to look across digital channels...to get a holistic view of brand performance and customer engagement," Yoder said. The platform itself resides in the cloud as a SaaS (Software as a Service) offering. --Les Luchter
