'Made In America' Makes Money

"There is a customer that appreciates that the product is made in the United States and is willing to pay for the difference," said Brooks Brothers CEO Claudio Del Vecchio. He said that the company, which once made few products here, now has a "large percentage" of products that are American-made. Everyone from Brooks Brothers to the Olsen twins are using homegrown as a way to tout luxury goods, copying Chrysler and Levi Strauss. Joseph Abboud has a "Made in USA" web banner on his site, with footage of the factory in Massachusetts that makes his products.
