PBS, known for running many, many British-produced shows on its U.S. stations ("You want Austen? We've got Austen" could be a slogan), is now switching things up: it plans (at least tentatively) to
start a cable and satellite channel to present older and current PBS-produced programming in the U.K., writes Elizabeth Jensen.
The channel could be called PBS UK, though no plans are final at
this time.
