Java Father Leaves Google

The "father of Java," James Gosling, has left Google to join the Sunnyvale 4-year-old startup Liquid Robotics -- which collects and transmits data from the ocean floor for a variety of uses, according to Jeremy C. Owens. The Wave Gliders are powered by wave energy. He's working for former Sun Microsystems friend Liquid Robotics CEO Bill Vass.
