Comms Changes At General Motors

Word has it James Bell (shout out to AutoWriters.com) formerly at Kelley Blue Book, is now in charge of Consumer Affairs at GM.

Per AutoWriters, Bell "will provide expertise on issues facing automotive consumers. He will engage in rapid-response news opportunities, regional media events, and auto shows." He will also be a blogger and commentator for GM and its brands on social media fire hoses.

Jay Cooney will direct Strategic Media Management and News Operation and Ryndee Carney will manage GM's Business Media Strategy. She will be the primary contact for business media interviews.
