CareerBuilder.com yesterday selected ExactTarget's Connect software to design, deliver and track the millions of emails it sends to job seekers every month. The software is enabling CareerBuilder to
quickly disseminate frequent messages targeted to the interests of job seekers, employers and recruiters. According to company officials, ExactTarget's list segmentation functionality is making it
possible for CareerBuilder's marketing team to assemble highly personalized email campaigns without the assistance of IT staff. At the same time, the software's template-driven design tools are
allowing copywriters to produce graphically rich HTML messages without designer intervention. Delivery of the emails is outsourced to ExactTarget, removing a significant load from CareerBuilder's
in-house servers.
