NYC Cabbies Can Now Refuse To Run Racy Ads

Some New York City cab drivers now have the power to refuse putting ads they think are too racy on their vehicle -- such as long-controversial strip-club and liquor ads.

New York's Taxi and Limousine Commission just passed a rule giving such veto power over ads "reasonably" deemed inappropriate to "owners of yellow-taxi medallions, who lease the right to operate taxis to the drivers," writes Tim Nudd.
