The Home Depot launched a new national advertising campaign last night, with a 60-second branding spot on the CBS Grammy show. The campaign capitalizes on how “the home improvement leader is more than
a store to its customers, associates and communities.“ The tagline: "The Home Depot is more than a store -- You can do it. We can help." The campaign will start on television and expand across the
company's total marketing effort to include radio, print, collateral materials and the Internet. The campaign includes both 60- and 30-second spots covering a range of products and services. The theme
will be featured in all of the retailer's weekly marketing plans throughout the year. Marketing support will increase in 2003 as the company continues to invest in its business. The Richards Group of
Dallas developed the spots.
