Jersey Shore” "talent" Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has filed a lawsuit in Florida Federal Court against Abercrombie & Fitch, charging that the clothing company has
infringed on his “Situation” and “GTL” trademarks. The lawsuit comes on the heels of the company’s publicity ploy in August, offering to pay the reality star to no longer
wear their apparel.
At the time, A&F sniped it was “deeply concerned” that Sorrentino “could cause significant damage” to its brand’s “aspirational
nature.” Sorrentino’s lawyers claim Abercrombie & Fitch “obviously intended to create a false association” with the reality star, who wants $4 million to go away.
