Let’s face it: Big Brother is watching us. A digital outdoor campaign for the CBS series “Person of Interest” shows how easy it can be done. An
interactive screen was placed in New York and Los Angeles that projected a mirror image of passersby.
The screen would detect a person’s presence, scan their face and take a
picture. People had the option to have their picture sent to their smartphone and uploaded to Facebook. Those who uploaded their picture received additional Big Brother treatment. A user’s
Facebook profile information would be gathered to create a personalized “Person of Interest” file.
