'Atlantic' Site Debuts Health Channel

TheAtlantic.com has launched the Health channel. The channel will provide news and analysis in six broad areas of coverage: mind, body, food, sex, family, and public health. Channel editor Nicholas Jackson is in charge of section coverage. To date, The Atlantic's digital properties -- TheAtlantic.com, The AtlanticWire.com and The AtlanticCities.com -- reached 11 million unique visitors in November, more than double a year ago.
