InWindow Goes In Malls, Hotels Too: Rolls Out 'Experience Stations'

  • January 17, 2012

InWindow Outdoor, the digital out-of-home media developer known for its marvelous one-offs installations, this morning announced a pilot program that will begin rolling out fixed "experience stations" in malls and hotel locations nationwide. The "stations," which were designed by Intel, are free-standing, seven-foot tall interactive kiosks that will enable InWindow to develop a variety of "immersive" brand experiences, including gesture interaction, multi-touch screens and near field communication capabilities.

“We’ve taken the enjoyment of the iPad and Kinect and created an experience that melds beautiful hardware with an intuitive, engaging interface,” states Steve Birnhak, CEO of Inwindow Outdoor.

The kiosks also utilize Intel' Audience Impression Metrics Suite to measure the time a user spends interacting with ads and brand content. The software is capable of determining the age bracket and gender of audiences, enabling advertisers to provide consumers with more relevant, customized content.
