Radio ratings company Arbitron has reorganized key components of its U.S. Media Services division, which the company says will consolidate its client services and customer communication groups, and
enhance focus on its research efforts. Brad Feldhaus, director of Strategic Initiatives, Radio Stations Services, has been promoted to the new position of vice president of Radio Product Management
and Client Services. Feldhaus will oversee Arbitron’s Customer Communication and Services Group, which provides subscribers with detailed analyses of sample quality and its impact on local market
ratings results, as well as Diary Analysis and Communication Group, which examines how diary entries are credited for customers participating in diary reviews. Feldhaus will continue to work with the
Radio Advisory Council and will also be a member of Arbitron’s liaison team for the Media Ratings Council. Additionally, Dr. Ed Cohen, vice president of Domestic Radio Research, will now focus his
efforts on response rates and research design. Cohen will also take over the leadership role for Arbitron’s team on the Media Ratings Council. Separately, 16 year manager of Client Services, Pat
Duggan, announced she will retire from Arbitron next month.
