Former New York congresswoman Susan Molinari has been hired as Google Inc's top lobbyist in Washington at a time when it faces growing regulatory challenges, reports Politico. Molinari, a Republican, is the daughter of Staten Island political powerhouse Guy Molinari. She will be the vice president for public policy for North and South America. She replaces Alan Davidson, who began Google's lobbying operation several years ago. He stepped down in November.
