Inspired by The Little Prince, complete with surrealistic imagery and a tender, haunting score, Contre
Jour blurs the line between interactive art and games. Users guide a mysterious, alien-looking creature on a weirdly hypnotic journey. Salvador Dali could have painted the setting—if
he’d stuck to a white, black, gray, and blue palette. There are 60 levels of physics-based puzzles that let users interact with a world, not a character. The experience is abstract rather
than literal; a gentle homage to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s lonely prince who visits asteroids after his rose rejects him.
