Find a twin. The My Dog ID app aims to make the thousands of dogs at animal shelters more visible, so people will adopt and rescue them. The app
connects humans with canine friends by taking a picture of the user and, through the face.com API and a little facial recognition magic, matches the photo to a picture of a dog with similar coloring
or features. It's meant to raise awareness of the thousands of invisible dogs waiting to be adopted. It also lets users search animal shelters by zip code, as well as save and sharephotos across Twitter, Facebook, or the company's user-generated content, Dog Wall.
