Those struggling to find somewhere to park their car in the midst of a crowed city will appreciate a mobile application from Parking In Motion that helps drivers discover available parking meters, locations, and lots. The database points to on-street meter and sign restrictions in the top 26 U.S. markets, but also offers support for cities in Canada and Europe by providing rates, hours, entrance points, and occupancy information. The company partnered with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) navigation companies to build the application.
