Over the last few years, Coors Light’s TV campaigns have featured NFL coaches interacting with the brand’s target
audience, men ages 21-34 years old who love sports and beer, in various funny situations. These campaigns have ignited a meme with rogue YouTubers riffing on the idea and crafting their own
versions. This year the brand’s advertising evolved to feature “little coaches” providing real-life coaching to fans in various situations. To allow iPhone and Android users to
play along, the Coors Light Coach Cam app was born. The app lets users take a photo with their device, insert a little coach in one of several different poses, save it, and share it with their
favorite social networks.
