A federal appeals court on Thursday revived Viacom's copyright infringement lawsuit against Google. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals said the lawsuit should not have
been dismissed before trial, ruling that "a reasonable jury could find that YouTube had actual knowledge or awareness of specific infringing activity on its website.
But the court also accepted some of Google's arguments about the interpretation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
