VZW Offers Prepaid Plans

Verizon Wireless will begin offering a new prepaid plan through which consumers will be able to get unlimited talk and text messaging, as well as 1 GB of data for $80 a month. The plan will use Samsung’s Illusion phone.

Also beginning May 1, Verizon will also begin offering a “Jetpack” mobile hotspot with pre-paid monthly plans beginning at $15 (for 250 MB of data weekly).
