Could a technology that deblurs aerial photos put Bing in the same predicament as Google when it comes to photos taken for Street View? Not a question that Rue Liu asks -- but the notion should
remain top of mind for the Bing team tapping the Microsoft technology developed back in 2010. Hardware motion sensors attached to a camera help to remove any motion blur from pictures. Originally
intended for consumer photography, that technology is now being applied to deblur larger photos used in Bing’s aerial imagery.
