Nikon Pitches Coolpix With Vibrant

Nikon has teamed up with contextual advertising specialist Vibrant to launch an online ad campaign across Europe to promote its Coolpix series of cameras.

The campaign uses Vibrant’s in-image ad format, which identifies static images within brand-safe content across the web and embeds small overlays at the bottom of the image, along with display ads to promote its Coolpix series of compact digital cameras.

The campaign, planned by Nikon’s media agency Ted@Mediacom, will run for three months across a range of consumer and entertainment sites.

The UK-based hi-tech media company WeSEE has launched the innovative contextual advertising solution based on image analysis and object recognition technologies last year. WeSEE: Ads, launched in Europe and Russia, enables to demonstrate advertisement according to visual content on the web pages, including images and video.
