AARP Names Alliance Media As Hispanic Rep

AARP Publications has tapped Alliance Media & Communications as its Hispanic ad rep for AARP Segunda Juventud, a quarterly title for Hispanic members. The mag, which has grown its circulation to 400,000 since launching in 2001, offers information on health and finance.

"This is an untapped market on many levels," said Alliance president and chief executive officer Roger Gonzalez in a press release. "Advertisers are just realizing the potential of the 50-plus Hispanic market, which in itself is the financial, cultural and moral foundation of Hispanic culture in the U.S."
