The online music service is investigating the possibility that some of its users passwords have been stolen. Last.fm said its members should change their passwords "as a precautionary measure". The
warning follows security breaches at professional social network
LinkedIn and eHarmony, the dating website. LinkedIn admitted last week that passwords belonging to six million of its members had been published online. Graham Cluley, an analyst with security
firm Sophos, said that around 1.5 million eHarmony members' passwords had been uploaded.
