'NY Times' Charges Extra For Digital Crossword Puzzle

The New York Times will be charging its home delivery print subscribers extra for digital access to one of its favorite features: the iconic crossword puzzle, celebrated in the 2006 movie "Wordplay."

"What’s another seven-letter word for premium? Right now, some pissed-off puzzle-solving New York Times home subscribers are probably answering that with R-I-P-O-F-F-S," writes Foster Kamer.
